Webd.top is a unique domain-driven web directory – so adding domain at the end with search words would help.
There are 5 ways to search through this website (1) Google Custom (2) Local Site Search (3) Categories (4) Tag Cloud (5) Global URL Search.
Let’s consider each option starting from reverse order first.
(5) Global Site URL Search (search bar located below the tag cloud).
Global Site Search – examples
1. hotel .ch (hotels in Switzerland)
2. hotel .de (hotels in Germany)
3. auto .kr (auto related companies in South Korea)
4. auto .jp (auto related companies in Japan)
Specify only word – which you may think may be most likely part of the URLs. To find hotels in Switzerland just specify words “hotel .ch” in the search input box.
Currently, it searches only URL i.e. if the words are part of all URLs available in the site at global level. Note “.ch” is the country domain for Switzerland. Similarly, for hotels in Germany specify words “hotel .de”. To find the country domain itself like “.ch” or “.de” – please check in the bottom country-menu.
(4) Tag Cloud.
TAG Cloud offers quick local result on a particular TAG.
Please note – comparing to the search word “emploi” in Local site search results (e.g. of France – fr.webd.top) – you’ll have same results like
if you click on “emploi” TAG Cloud in (fr.webd.top) as it searches TAG as search-word only.
These are broad Website/URL Categories. Currently, there are approximately 55 categories. We are excluding inappropriate or sensitive categories like adult content, illegal or malicious content etc.
Each Website/URL/Listing is indicated with a single broad category for easy identification and browse directory.
For example, to find top universities of United States – just go to ‘us.webd.top’ and select ‘category – Educational’ and you’ll get list of top educational institutes of USA
and will have names of universities like MIT, Stanford , Harvard. Similarly, if you visit ‘uk.webd.top’ and select ‘category – Educational’ there – you’ll get UK’s top educational institutes list with names starting with Oxford and Cambridge.
In similar way – you can check for example – for Japan CAR/Automotive – just need to visit ‘jp.webd.top’ and select – ‘category – Personal Vehicles’ and for Korea CAR/Automotive – just need to visit ‘kr.webd.top’ and select – ‘category – Personal Vehicles’.
The idea is – with a small index and few clicks – you should be able to check your favorite web resources or find new ones.
(2) Local Site search – (search bar above the tag cloud).
Local Site Search – examples
For example if the website URL reads ‘au.webd.top’ i.e. Australia
1. .edu.au (universities in Australia)
2. real estate ( to find real estate companies in Australia)
Or if the website URL reads ‘uk.webd.top’ i.e. United Kingdom
3. .ac.uk (academic i.e. universities in United Kingdom)
If your local site is say fr.webd.top i.e. France
4. emploi (emploi in French i.e. employment related in France)
(1) Google Custom Search.
You can use Google Custom Search with no words restrictions – but in order to get similar results like the web directory – specify as follows:
hotel site:.ch (hotels in Switzerland)
auto site:.jp (auto related companies in Japan)
There might be duplication in URLs, but you’ll have much larger result.
NOTE: Besides above – you can always find TOP LIST button at the top navigation bar and at the bottom with ‘…. List’ option to click.
For example – say for country France – just visit fr.webd.top and check at the bottom “.fr List” link or click at the List button at the top.
